Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0Effective September 15, 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It describes what you may and may not do with Attune. Most of it comes down to one idea: only message people who bought from you and agreed to hear from you, and be honest with them.
Consent
You may only use Attune to message people who are your customers and who have agreed to receive messages from you. You must be able to show that consent if asked. For SMS, that means the express written consent the law requires, collected by you, before the first text.
You may not upload, connect, or otherwise bring into Attune any list you purchased, rented, scraped, or obtained from anyone other than the customers themselves.
Opt-outs
You must honour every request to stop. Attune enforces STOP, unsubscribe, and equivalent requests automatically, and you may not configure, work around, or ask us to work around that behaviour. If a customer asks you directly to stop, you must remove them in Attune or in your provider promptly.
Content
Messages sent through Attune must be truthful. You may not:
- make claims about your product, pricing, or offers that are false or misleading;
- send messages that appear to come from someone other than you;
- send anything that is illegal where the recipient lives, or that is harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or discriminatory;
- use Attune to message anyone under the age required by law for the type of message.
You approve every journey before it sends. Approval means you have read it and take responsibility for it.
Product research
Attune reads publicly available reviews and community content to understand your product. You may not use Attune, or anything Attune produces, to identify, contact, target, or retaliate against any individual reviewer, or to circumvent a platform’s terms of use to obtain content you are not permitted to access.
The service
You may not:
- copy, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the models, prompts, or source of Attune;
- resell or sublicense Attune, or use it to build a competing product;
- probe, scan, or test the security of Attune without our written permission (see our Security page for how to report a vulnerability responsibly);
- use automated means to access Attune outside the interfaces we provide;
- interfere with the service or other customers’ use of it.
Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this policy, we will contact you and, where the violation is ongoing or creates legal risk for us or harm to recipients, suspend sending while it is resolved. Repeated or serious violations may lead to termination under the Terms of Service. We may report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
