How Attune works

From product page to post-purchase journey.

Most brands go quiet once the box arrives. Here’s how Attune doesn’t.

Attune turns what’s already known about your product into a 30-day post-purchase journey. It reads your product page, reviews and the forums where owners talk, finds the moments that decide whether a customer succeeds with it, and writes an email or text for each moment. You review the journey, and it sends through your own email and SMS platform when an order is placed, shipped or delivered.

The result is customers who get the most out of what they bought, and reviews that sell to the next shopper.

Step 1

Add your products

Add a product by its page, or import your catalog from your store or a CSV file. You can also add your own material: setup guides, FAQs, support articles.

Step 2

Attune reads what’s public about each one

For each product, Attune reads the product page and what owners say about it in reviews, forums and support pages. Every finding is kept with its source, so you can see where it came from.

Step 3

It finds the moments that matter

From that reading, Attune builds a friction map of the first 30 days after delivery: what goes wrong, when it tends to happen, what leads to a return or a poor review, and what the happiest owners do differently.

For a connected treadmill, that might be:

  • Days 1 to 2: stuck on a software update the day it arrives. Could end in a return.
  • Days 2 to 7: a passcode prompt that interrupts every workout.
  • Days 4 to 30: Wi-Fi drops mid-class in a garage or basement.
  • Days 7 to 30: the first membership charge feels like a surprise. Could end in a return.

Attune, day 0

Your treadmill runs a software update the first time it powers on. Keep it plugged in and let it finish before your first class.

Step 4

It writes the journey

Attune drafts a journey of email or SMS steps, each timed to one of those moments and written in your brand’s voice. Some steps are check-ins: a short question, such as “Have you taken your first run yet?”, where the next message depends on the answer. A customer who’s stuck gets help; one who’s doing well gets the next tip.

  2. TextDay 1

Before your first class, set a passcode you’ll remember. The screen asks for it again whenever you step off the belt for a while.

Classes cutting out? Treadmills in garages and basements often sit at the edge of Wi-Fi range. A simple extender usually fixes it.

Step 5

You review and publish

Every step is yours to read, edit or delete before anything sends. Preview each one as it will arrive, send yourself a test, then publish.

Step 6

Each order starts a journey

You choose the moment a journey starts: when the order is placed, when it ships, or when it’s delivered. From then, each step goes out on its day.

Step 7

It sends through your platform

Messages go out through the email and SMS platform you already use, from your own domain and number, to customers who already know you. No platform yet? Attune can send them on its own.

What you need

  • Required

A way to send. Attune sends through Klaviyo, Attentive or PostScript, or on its own if you’d rather keep it simple.

  • Optional

Your ecommerce store. It works with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Adobe Commerce.
